Succesfully Aligning SH&E and Business Intiatives

Kathy Seabrook

Business alignment and creating value are essential to successfully implementing SH&E initiatives within an organization. Alignment with business initiatives such as sustainability/CSR, communicating SH&E as a risk to the business and demonstrating the value of managing SH&E risk are the key to success for SH&E professionals in the 21st century. Ms. Seabrook challenged professionals to think differently and find new ways to integrate SH&E into the business for high level success. She also shared some of the SH&E business initiatives currently going on at ASSE. Ms. Seabrook has asked that we not post her presentation in its entirety.
